Here at TPG, we take the holiday season pretty seriously. We begin blasting our holiday Spotify playlists in October! Thanks to #PowerPlayer Anna Proctor’s iTunes account, The Holiday movie plays year round in our conference room. So, we thought it only made sense to share our favorite Dallas holiday traditions.
Highland Park Carriage Rides
A timeless Dallas tradition, the carriage rides throughout Highland Park are #PowerPlayer Brooke’s favorite thing to do with her friends to get into the holiday spirit. Grab a seasonal drink from Starbucks in Highland Park Village beforehand and enjoy a ride with views of the most beautiful homes Dallas has to offer!
Bishop Arts District
Head over to the Bishop Arts District for a holiday-filled day! A charming holiday ambiance fills this neighborhood’s streets. #PowerPlayer Julia loves starting at Eno’s Pizza Tavern for lunch, followed by a visit to Society Candle and Emporium Pies. Don’t forget to take a picture in front of the “Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal” sign!
Candles, Cocoa & Classics
Our agency is full of candle experts. #PowerPlayer Anna recommends Nest’s Holiday Classic scent or Trader Joe’s Gingerbread and Cedar Balsam candles. She loves a night in with her Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa and a peppermint stick while listening to her Christmas playlist.
Seasonal Sips
Dallasites love to celebrate the holidays with cocktails. #PowerPlayer Catie recommends hitting up the 12 Bars of Christmas Bar Crawl or the Miracle holiday pop up bar at Dibs on Victory, Hide and Tiny Victories. Our team also loves to enjoy a Hotty Toddy at HG Sply Co. next to one of the upstairs fireplaces, or a cocktail at cozy Bowen House.
Holiday Tea at the Adolphus
For a more classic holiday moment, #PowerPlayer Catherine adores The Adolphus. This timeless Downtown Dallas hotel features two restaurants, City Hall Bistro and The French Room. The French Room hosts Tea at The Adolphus every holiday season and it is a great way to get in the festive spirit.
